What it does
The Scientific Committee advises on:
- Research priorities and calls for proposals.
- Development and revision of the Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda.
- Monitoring the outcomes and strategic relevance of funded projects.
- Scientific alignment, partnerships, capacity building, and impact.
It also supports collaboration with stakeholders and contributes to working groups, the EDCTP Forum, and other key events.
Who they are
The Committee is composed of 12 independent scientific experts, including mandatory representation from African countries.
Members are selected for their excellence, regional balance, and relevant expertise.
