Fionn Harnischfeger is Portfolio Lead for Global Health at GIZ International Services, where he leads the design and implementation of international health programmes across diverse regions. With over eight years of experience in health systems strengthening and international cooperation, he works at the intersection of public health, policy, and strategic partnerships.
His work focuses on advancing integrated, system-level approaches to global health, moving beyond fragmented interventions toward coordinated models that align governance, financing, and implementation. He has extensive experience working with governments, multilateral organisations, academia, civil society, and the private sector to co-develop scalable and sustainable solutions.
Fionn has been closely involved in shaping and implementing multi-partner platforms that bring actors together under shared structures, enabling joint accountability and collective impact.
