Stakeholders’ Group

The Stakeholders’ Group advises and helps anchor the work of Global Health EDCTP3 in the global health context.

What it does

The Stakeholders Group advises on:

  • Scientific, strategic, and technological priorities of the programme.
  • Opportunities for collaboration and synergies with adjacent sectors.
  • Alignment with stakeholder needs and developments in global health.
  • The EDCTP Forum, engaging actively and contributing to shaping its theme and content.

It also addresses ad hoc requests from the Governing Board or the Executive Director on strategic or thematic issues and supports the visibility and relevance of the programme across sectors and regions.

It includes patient organisations, civil society, local health authorities, research institutions, funders, social entrepreneurs, and industry actors, particularly those focused on infectious diseases and co-morbidities, with a carefully balanced representation between Europe and sub-Saharan Africa.
