Dr Victor Musiime is an Associate Professor and Head, Department of Paediatrics and Child Health, School of Medicine, College of Health Sciences, Makerere University, in Kampala, Uganda.
In addition, he provides clinical care to children at the Mulago National Referral Hospital. He has been conducting research, including clinical trials, for over 20 years. His research and clinical interests are in paediatric infectious diseases, childhood nutrition and gastrointestinal disorders, and child health.
Currently, he is the site Principal Investigator for the Global Health EDCTP3 funded SUPPORT (ID: 101145811) and SECRET (ID: 101145783) projects at Makerere University, among other studies.
