The EDCTP Association is one of the two founding and governing partners of Global Health EDCTP3.
It represents a partnership of European and African countries committed to accelerating the development and deployment of health technologies to combat infectious diseases in sub-Saharan Africa. It is a non-profit organisation established under Dutch law.
What it does in Global Health EDCTP3
The EDCTP Association:
- co-governs the Global Health EDCTP3 alongside the European Union;
- contributes financially and strategically to the programme;
- aligns national and regional research investments with the joint agenda;
- mobilises expertise and partnerships to support global health priorities.
Member countries
The EDCTP Association is composed of countries from Europe and sub-Saharan Africa, united in their commitment to collaborative research and innovation to detect, treat and prevent poverty-related infectious diseases in sub-Saharan Africa.
