Prof. Condo Jeanine is a medical doctor and public health expert with a PhD in Public Health. She is CEO and Founder of CIIC-HIN, AKIISA, and PACT Solutions, three interconnected organisations advancing evidence-based health systems strengthening, digital health, and clinical trials across Africa. She also serves as Associate Professor of Public Health at the University of Rwanda and Adjunct Associate Professor at Tulane University (USA). She has held senior academic leadership roles, including Principal of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences and Dean of the School of Public Health at the University of Rwanda and worked as the Director General of the Rwanda Biomedical Center (RBC), an implementing arm of the Ministry of Health in Rwanda.
She currently serves as Rwanda National Ethics Committee (RNEC) since 2023. She is a Council Member of the University of Medical Sciences and Technology in Rwanda (UMST), a Board Member of the Society for AIDS in Africa (SAA), and Vice Chairperson of the Rwanda Public Health Association. She has also served on multiple regional and global advisory bodies, including with WHO, GAVI (EAC), the Global Fund (TERG), and the African Academy of Sciences, and served as Local Co-Chair for the International AIDS Society (IAS) Conference in 2025. She has led multi-country research programs and projects funded by partners such as the Gates Foundation and Horizon Europe and has published over 80 peer-reviewed articles. Her work focuses on translating research into policy and practice to improve health outcomes in Africa.
