Prof. Blandina Theophil Mmbaga is a distinguished physician-scientist, public health leader with 20+ years in clinical research, implementation science, and global health. She directs Kilimanjaro Clinical Research Institute (KCRI) and is Associate Professor of pediatric and child health, KCMC University, Tanzania.
Internationally recognized for maternal, newborn, and adolescent health research focusing on infectious/non-communicable disease prevention, digital health, and health systems strengthening. Experienced in supervising interdisciplinary teams, managing funding, coordinating multisectoral stakeholders, and overseeing large-scale research and capacity-building programs.
