Regional networks of excellence
EDCTP has supported four regional networks of excellence. These networks connect institutions, share capacity, and coordinate research in your region and are open to new members and collaborators.
New networks will be launched in 2026 through Global Health EDCTP3-funded projects.
The West African Network for Tuberculosis, AIDS and Malaria (WANETAM) connects you with research institutions across the region to collaborate on infectious disease studies, share training, and build joint capacity.
The East African Consortium for Clinical Research (EACCR) supports access to clinical trial infrastructure, inter-institutional collaboration, and shared research resources.
