Delivering on the promise: Shaping the next chapter of EDCTP for shared prosperity, security, and resilience

Global Health EDCTP3 will hold a side event at the AU-EU R&I Ministerial Meeting in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

The Global Health EDCTP3 side event at the AU-EU R&I Ministerial Meeting will bring together Ministers and senior policymakers, researchers, funders and other partners to reflect on more than 20 years of African-European health research collaboration through EDCTP and discuss its future.

With 49 member countries, more than €1.4 billion invested in 600 clinical research projects, over 3,000 professionals trained and networks spanning more than 100 institutions, EDCTP has become the largest health research partnership between Africa and Europe. The event will showcase the partnership's impact and examine how its achievements can be sustained and built upon amid evolving global health, geopolitical and financing challenges.
