The new Global Health EDCTP3 networking platform is now open, providing an interactive space where researchers, organisations, and funders can connect to build strong, collaborative consortia for the second stage of ongoing calls for proposals.

As the world marks World Malaria Day 2025, the Global Health EDCTP3 Joint Undertaking reinforces its commitment to eradicating malaria by scaling up support for innovative research and development.

Global Health EDCTP3 has received 287 applications by the 20 March 2025 first-stage deadline for the 2025 calls. Applicants have requested nearly €1,570 million in Global Health EDCTP3 funding, against the indicative call budget of €239.8 million.

Global Health EDCTP3 has announced a significant increase in its Work Programme 2025 budget to reflect new contributions from contributing partners and the EDCTP Association. The augmented budget aims at supporting global health research and epidemic preparedness.
